Sambla deepens its personal finance offering through partnership with Gokind

Sambla is taking the next step in its journey from loan broker to a broader personal finance partner. Through a new partnership with Stockholm-based tech company Gokind, Sambla’s customers will gain access to tools that make it easier to understand income, expenses and cost categories directly within Sambla’s service.

The partnership follows Sambla Group being granted authorisation by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to operate as a credit market company. The authorisation marks a new phase in the company’s development and strengthens its ability to build on its ambition to help people gain a better overview, make more informed decisions and create more secure conditions for their personal finances.

“With the authorisation in place, we can support our customers throughout life, not only when they take out a loan. Together with Gokind, we are giving hundreds of thousands of people a clear and reliable picture of their everyday finances,” says Hans Skruvfors, CEO of Sambla Group.

Sambla Group has helped more than 1.5 million people in the Nordics through its brands. Through the partnership with Gokind, customers will be able to get a consolidated view of their personal finances in less than a minute, including income, expenses and their largest cost categories.

“This is an important step in how we are building the next generation of personal finance services. Through the partnership with Gokind, we can give our customers more relevant insights into their finances in a way that is easy to understand and use in everyday life,” says Kjersti Thorneus, CPTO at Sambla Group.

Gokind provides the technology that makes it possible to transform bank transactions into a clear and categorised overview of the customer’s finances. For Sambla’s customers, this means that information from their own bank can be displayed in a way that makes it easier to understand where their money goes and which parts of their finances may need to be reviewed.

Unlike many other providers, Gokind does not store or aggregate any customer data. This is a deliberate choice that makes the solution safer for consumers and easier for Sambla to integrate into its service.

“What makes me especially pleased about the partnership with Sambla is that we can take something as complex as transaction data and make it simple and useful for people in their everyday lives. Sambla has a strong relationship with its customers, and we contribute the technology that makes their finances easier to understand,” says Gustaf Anselmsson, CEO of Gokind.

For Sambla, the partnership is an important step in developing the customer relationship beyond an individual loan application and towards more long-term support for people’s personal finances. By combining Sambla’s reach and customer relationships with Gokind’s technology, the companies aim to give more people better control over their everyday finances and a clearer basis for making important financial decisions.
