Sambla Norway launches Bankscore, a new tool that will give Norwegians better overview of their finances

Sambla Group is now launching Bankscore, a new digital tool that will make it easier for Norwegians to understand their own financial situation.

Through Bankscore, you can, among other things, see your total debt and obtain a valuation of your home. In connection with the launch, we are also announcing a competition where you can win groceries worth NOK 120,000.

The background for the launch is everyday life marked by higher interest rates, more expensive groceries and increased living costs. According to the Salvation Army’s Poverty Barometer, 39 per cent of Norwegians feel that their personal finances have worsened over the past six months.

Sambla has developed Bankscore to give users a simple and clear understanding of their own finances before they make major financial decisions.

By logging in with BankID, users gain access to information such as total debt, estimated property value, any debt collection cases or payment remarks, as well as insight into where it may be possible to reduce costs or improve terms over time.

“The vision behind Bankscore is to give Norwegians a safe and simple place where they can understand and gain full overview of their personal finances,” says Fabian Grimelund, Managing Director of Sambla Norway.

The service is free to use and is intended to function as a tool for information and insight. The aim is to make financial insight more accessible, including for users who do not usually follow their personal finances closely.

“Our goal is to make financial insight available to everyone, not only to those who are already interested in personal finance,” says Grimelund.

Launching competition: win groceries worth NOK 120,000

In connection with the launch, Bankscore is also starting a campaign where users who log in and provide the necessary consents via BankID can take part in a draw for free groceries.

“Grocery prices have increased significantly in recent years. That is why we wanted a prize that really means something in people’s everyday lives,” says Grimelund.

Three winners will be drawn, and each of them will receive NOK 10,000 per month for groceries for twelve months. The prize has a total value of NOK 120,000 per winner.

“Whether you are a student, single, a couple or a family, free groceries for one year can provide noticeable financial relief. At the same time, we believe that everyone who logs in gains value through better insight into their own finances,” says Grimelund.
